- John Romaine Added November 04, 2018★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Pretty disappointed. I dropped off an Autolite 1100 for my XP Falcon and got it back looking very average. Infact I was pretty disappointed when I took it out of the box. I was told before dropping it off that I would get it back "looking like new" Far from it. A lot of it was still very pitted instead of being replaced. Upon questioning I was told "You cant replace that, you cant get that stuff anymore". However a quick search online showed otherwise. Once fitted to the car the auto choke failed to engage due to a faulty linkage, which meant having to remove the carby and repair it. I paid $450 and traveled almost an hour to these guys, only to end up having the car back at the mechanics with the carby in pieces on the bench.
